Day three is the hottest, so after a flour game and a demo, we ate lunch and headed out to intense water games. The Hungarian was too fast for me during the lecture, but I did learn if you give a group of 70 kids lollipops they become really quiet.
The flour game involved blowing flour out of a cup with a straw. Wanna’ see pics? I do.
Since we are supposed to receive a ton of rain on the last day of our camp, we played two very wet water-games today. Both involved tarps covered in a mixture of oil and soap. In game number one it was like water-basketball in one’s knees and without the required dribbling.
The second game is what the children look forward to and talk about the most… the slip-n-slide. Then after that, it was a free for all!
And day 4, I bet was amazing. I (Heather) ended up with a virus and had to stay home while Richard got stuck at the car mechanics longer than expected. I hope you enjoyed the pictures and stories though.
